not sure if this is done yet or not. but figure i would post anyway to try to keep my spirits up about the next school year and getting back into the swing of DA.
This summer has been all over the place so i've kinda ignored DA >__> (16,724 messages and 53 notes AUGHHH) so in the nextweek before school starts I'll hopefully have time ta go through that stuff and be more up on posting again @n@
ANYWAY-
SANDER MOTHERFUCK'N COHEN
one of my fav bioshock characters. Started way back at the start of the summer but just recently 'finished'. I'm not sure if it is yet or not. Butttt figured i would post anyway. Critiques r welcome~

Overall
Vision Originality Technique ImpactThe piece, overall, has a really wonderful palette. The colors are muted leaving the reds to really pop in the painting. I can tell you thought about where you wanted to use them as well, which is nice to know thought went into not only the composition of the art but also came together in your color choices.
The textuering in Cohen's face is also impressive! But, this takes me to the only critique I can give you. Even though the background does work ( I mean the whole painting works) It might have been a bit more powerful if you chose to complete it with a solid black. Or maybe just a less textured quality. It would really bring the figures to the foreground and it would be really eye catching to see those moths leading the eye downward with little interruption. But, that aside, really a fun piece and it lends itself really well to the aesthetic of the game.
